How It Works
The tool implements a dual-API architecture to cover the full HP product range. For enterprise products, it authenticates with HPE's PartSurfer API using OAuth 2.0 client credentials flow, then queries the product database by serial number. For consumer products, it uses the HP Inc. PartSurfer API with a separate OAuth token. The system automatically determines which API to query based on the serial number format and product response. Token management handles automatic refresh when credentials expire. Batch processing accepts Excel files with multiple serial numbers and routes each to the appropriate API endpoint.
